US Postal Service Awarded "Top Perch" for the 2007 Combined Federal Campaign |
- GREENSBORO, NC- The US Postal Service (USPS) has won the Top Perch Award, an honor that is presented to the Federal Agency who has the highest per capita (per employee) giving in the annual Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Managed by United Way of Greater Greensboro, the Piedmont Triad CFC is an annual fundraising effort in federal work places in a 9 county area. The Top Perch plaque is currently being displayed in the US Postal Service store front window of the Four Seasons Finance Station in Four Seasons Mall. This is the first year the Top Perch has been awarded to a USPS office. Winston-Salem IRS received the award up to four times in recent years. In 2006, the Greensboro Public Defenders Office was the award recipient. In addition to being a recipient of the Top Perch Award, USPS also had 100% participation rate in giving to the CFC.
